1. Policy Statement

Journey to Healthcare CIC is committed to providing a safe, professional, inclusive and respectful environment for all learners, volunteers, committee members, mentors, speakers, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.

Everyone involved with Journey to Healthcare is expected to behave in a manner that reflects the organisation's values and promotes trust, safety, equality, professionalism and integrity.

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected from everyone participating in or representing Journey to Healthcare CIC.

Failure to comply with this Code may result in advice, supervision, training, restrictions, suspension, removal from role, safeguarding escalation or other appropriate action.

2. Purpose

The purpose of this Code is to:

• Promote safe and professional behaviour.
• Protect learners, volunteers and participants.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
• Support safeguarding arrangements.
• Protect confidential information.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Protect the reputation of Journey to Healthcare CIC.
